Sandra L. Harris

HARRIS, Sandra – of Clio, formerly of Flint, age 76, went peacefully to her Heavenly home on Wednesday, March 4, 2026. Honoring Sandra's wishes, cremation will take place. A Celebration of Life will be held at 11AM on Friday, March 20, 2026, at the O'Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. John Montney, celebrant. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home from 10AM until the time of service at 11AM. A Rosary will be prayed with the family at 9:45AM Friday morning. Sandra was born in Flint to the late Henry and Teresa (Fyock) Rhoads. She married her beloved husband, James Harris, in 1969, and together they shared 56 years of marriage. James preceded her in death on June 27, 2025. She was a faithful member of SS Charles and Helena Catholic Church. Sandra was active in Girl Scouts for nearly 15 years, including time spent serving as a dedicated troop leader. She had a creative spirit and especially enjoyed working on jigsaw puzzles with her sisters and friends. Sandra was known for her loyalty and selfless nature. She was always willing to lend a helping hand, whether it meant cleaning someone's home or caring for loved ones in their time of need. Even in her final days, Sandra continued to think of and care for others, a reflection of the kindness and generosity that defined her life. Sandra was an incredible woman who can never be replaced, and she will be truly missed.

Sandra is forever loved by: Daughters: Jennifer (Daniel) Murphy and Meredith Harris; Grandchildren: Allison Murphy, Ryan Murphy, Lauryn Donahue, and Kendal Donahue; Siblings: Clifford (Helen) Rhoads and Madelon Salsbury; Many nieces, nephews, extended family, and wonderful friends. Sandra was preceded in death by: Husband, James; Parents, Henry and Teresa; Several siblings.
