Sandra Lee Heher

Sandra Lee Heher, 83, of Leland, IL passed away peacefully on Monday, April 16, 2024 at Prairie Crossing Nursing Home in Shabbona, IL after a long illness. Sandy loved to travel, read, and hang out with her family and friends. Many will remember her caring presence when she volunteered at the Sandwich Hospital, and her warm, inviting smile when they walked into the Leland National Bank. She will be missed.
She is survived by her children, Lee Sampson of Leland, IL., Bob (Brenda) Heher of Bristol, IL., Scott Heher (Trudy Wakeman) of Lake in the Hills, IL., Craig (Muriel) Heher of Norwood Young America, Minnesota; five grandchildren, Ryan, Tyler, Trevor, Zachery and Alyssa and four great-grandchildren, Ashlyn, Triston, Liam and Colin.
She was preceded in death by her husband, mother, dad, and stepdad.
Visitation will be Saturday, April 20, 2024 from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm at Turner-Eighner Funeral Home in Somonauk, IL. Funeral Service will be 3:00 pm at the funeral home with Pastor Abraham Moller officiating. All are welcome for fellowship at Leland Methodist Church in Leland, IL following funeral service.
