Sandra Blanche Kittleson

Sandra Blanche Kehaulani Kittleson (DeLima), passed away peacefully on February 5th, 2026, at Mercy Hospital. She was 83 years old.

Sandy was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii. Shortly after graduating from Sacred Hearts Academy, she moved to Minneapolis, MN to pursue a career as a flight attendant. Soon after arriving, she met her husband Arthur whom she was married for 55 years. They raised three-daughters - Rochelle, Lisa and Kristina.

Sandy held several jobs throughout her life. Her favorite was at the Waikiki Room as a waitress with her best friend of 60+ years, Betty. It was never a dull moment when they were together.

Sandy loved her family. She found happiness hosting family dinners - celebrations, holidays and out of town family resulting in many legendary evening's. Eventually, she needed to extend the table with the additions of her son-in-laws Bill, Gary and Steve whom she adored. Two beloved granddaughters joined soon after, Jordan and Natalie.

Sandy brought warmth and joy to everyone around her. She could take any moment and find humor, laughing at the situation or even herself. The most ordinary activity could turn into an adventure.

In her later years, Sandy crocheted prayer shawls along with afghan's for those she loved. She enjoyed NFL Football, watching her cowboy shows and most of all, spending time with her family including her great-granddaughter Abigail

She is survived by her children, Rochelle Gruhlke (Bill), Lisa Asper (Gary), Kristina Larsen (Steve), Granddaughters Jordan Gunnerson (Leif) and Natalie Larsen, Great-Granddaughter Abigail Gunnerson. She is preceded in death by her husband Art Kittleson, parents, Frank & Pearl DeLima.

A memorial service celebrating Sandy's life will be held Friday, February 13, 2026 at Church of St. Paul 1740 Bunker Lake Blvd NE, Ham Lake, MN 55304. Visitation at 10:00 AM, Eulogy at 10:45, Mass at 11:00 with luncheon to follow.
