Sandra Whitmer Lineweaver

A person reveals much of their character by looking at what they focus their attention upon. Day after day, over months and years, Sandy carefully watched her sons and husband, seeking to meet their needs. She was a very kind, giving, and loving person. Sandy constantly enriched their lives and the lives of many others--in her family and in the community. Love always, John Foster

My first memory of Sandra, where do I start. Her grandparents lived accross the street on the opsit corner from my Grandmother and we lived next to my grandmother. As kids when the girls would be at thier grandmothers we would all end up on thier grandparents front porch or on a swing in the back yard area thier grandfather had created. Those were the so called good old days. Barbra, Sara, Becky, and Sandra. It is so hard to imagine that three of them are gone. I left town to go in the military in 1963, and when I came back I actually crossed paths with Sandra at JMU which I started breifly in 1967 as a Junior, before I left for what I thought at the time was a great job opotunity. I crossed pathes with Becky quite by chance while on assignment to Hawaii in later years, while engineering a Local Area Network for Trippler Army Hospital. It is just so hard to think that these bright lights are no longer with us. Rest In peace Sandy! I am sure the girls are waiting on you so you all can sing together again.
