Sandra Lee List

Sandy List was one of the sweetest people I ever met. Her home was always open to me with a smile and food on the table. I always found laughter and acceptance with a dose of good advice when I needed it. I loved every moment in her presence and time with the entire family.

Sandy was like a second mom to me, always welcoming me into her home and heart. Sandy and Eddie just belonged together in Madison County and are missed terribly. Jamie and John, surround yourself with the love of your neighbors and friends and know you are blessed to have been raised by the best! Love you both.

There has never been a better neighbor. We have loved you and your family for many years.

Marge & I regret that we are out of the state and cannot attend the services. Both your mother and father were among the finest people we have known. We pray that your sadness be short. Your happy memories will last forever.

I first met Sandy over 32 years ago. Though she may of been short in stature, her heart was as big as the great outdoors. Everyone who entered her life was truly blessed to having been associated with her.Her voice could calm the most frightened child or take down the most intimidating man.I can still envision the ponytail she wore back then. It brings a smile to my face. Bless you Sandy for making Madison County a better place. My condolences to the family.
