Sandra (Lutz) Kriebel Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Oct. 1, 2025.
Sandra Kriebel of Greene Township passed away at her home in Colorado Springs, September 22nd, 2025 at the age of 70. Sandra was born in Butler County, PA where she grew up in Zelienople before moving to Erie and starting a family. In the last several years she split her time between her homes in Pennsylvania and Colorado. She is preceded in death by her parents, Leona and Edward Lutz; her sister, Karen; her niece, Melinda; and her husband of 42 years, Kenneth.

Sandy is survived by her two children: Brint and his wife Michelle with their son Elliot, and Kevin with his daughter Laurel; her five brothers: Ron and his wife Kelly, Kevin and his wife Gwen, Ken and his wife Brenda, John and his wife Donna, and Bryce; numerous nieces and nephews; and an uncountable number of friends and loved ones throughout the world.

Sandy never stopped moving, learning, working, making new friends, and caring about everyone around her. She was crowned as the 1975-1976 Butler County Dairy Princess, worked caring for children while raising her own, and worked for Erie insurance for 25 years before retiring in 2022. Her children and grandchildren were her everything and they will always carry with them the love, joy, and strength that she instilled in them. She will be missed more than words can describe.

A private service will be held at a later date, where her ashes will be laid to rest as she requested. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the March of Dimes, an organization Sandy and her family have long supported.
