Sandra Gail Matusevich

Sandra Gail Matusevich, 63, of Bluefield, VA, passed Saturday, June 22, 2024, at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital, in Roanoke, VA. 

Born August 31, 1960, in Bluefield, WV, she was a daughter of the late Lonnie Arlin and Garnette Herald Minton. Sandra was a lifelong resident of Bluefield, VA. Sandra worked as a medical transcriptionist and was a member Falls Mills Christian Church. 

In addition to her parents, Sandra was preceded in death by her son, Justin Keith Matusevich, and her brother, Dannie Minton. 

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Johnny Matusevich, Jr., of the home; daughters, Elisha Doss of Bluefield, VA, and Stormi Matusevich and fiancé Joshua Graham of Princeton, WV; brothers, Terry Minton and wife Phyllis of Lake Norman, NC, Dale Minton and wife Faye of Plymouth, NC, Roby Minton and wife Becky of Harrisburg, VA, and Craig Minton and wife Lisa of Scranton, PA; sisters Vicki Simpson and husband Charlie of Myrtle Beach, SC, and Sherry Sheppard and husband Billy of Bluefield, VA; and five grandchildren. 

Funeral services will be held, Wednesday, June 26, 2024, at 2:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell, WV with Rev. John Blessing and Rev. Billy Sadler officiating. Entombment will follow at Grandview Memory Gardens with Alfred Johnson, J.R. Booth, Shannon Minton, Bo Sproles, Josh Graham, and Victor Matusevich serving as pallbearers. Brian Cuppett will serve as an honorary pallbearer.

Friends may call an hour prior to services, from 1:00-2:00 PM, at the funeral home.
