Sandra K. McMickings

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Sandra K. McMickings (77) on February 28, 2026, in Plainview, TX. A Visitation will be held on Monday, March 2, 2026, from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at Bartley Memorial Chapel in Plainview, TX. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, at 2:00 PM be at Bartley Memorial Chapel in Plainview, TX with Chaplin Dean Daniel officiating. Interment will follow to Plainview Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the supervision of Bartley Funeral Home of Plainview, TX.

Sandra was born on March 3. 1948 in Childress, TX, to Oliver Massey and Margaret Macnamara Massey. She married William McMickings Sr. on May 31, 1968, in Happy, Texas.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Patricia and husband Jose Garces of Plainview, son, William McMickings Jr. and wife Deliza of Plainview, son, John McMickings of El Paso, daughter, Amanda Muniz and husband Larry Muniz of San Angelo; sister, Kathy Koen of Lubbock, sister, Barbara Blount of Lubbock, sister, Cindy Kingston and husband Alex of Plainview; grandchildren, Savannah, Sabrina, and Jarred Garces of Plainview, Isaac and Sophia McMickings of Plainview, Kesirn, Lydia, and Madison McMickings of Lubbock, Isabella, Kalel, and Colton McMickings of San Angelo.

Sandra is proceeded in death by her husband, William McMickings Sr.; father, Oliver Massey; mother, Margaret Massey; brother and sister- in- law, Tommy and Sue McDonald.
