I met Sandra Johnston in 2nd grade at St.Theresa´s Grade School in the Memorial Park area of Houston.
Sandra was a tall, gangly girl with white- blonde hair. She was great fun & I enjoyed spending the night at her house because her handsome older brother Cy would drive us around. I lost Sandra as a friend when I changed schools.
Many years later, I found Sandra (now Sandy) again when I moved to The Heights & my son & her children attended St. Rose of Lima Catholic School & Seton Catholic Jr. High. We spent some time together & enjoyed seeing each other at the community pool.
Sandy was just as sweet as she could be, adored her husband, Steve, and her children. She was fortunate to have known all 18 of her grandchildren.
May she rest in peace.
