Sandra Ottea Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Mission Park Funeral Chapels Cherry Ridge from Mar. 11 to Mar. 16, 2026.
Sandra Adrienne Ottea, beloved wife, mother, daughter, and sister, passed away peacefully on March 7, 2026, after a courageous battle with leukemia. She was 45 years old.

Born on October 5, 1980, in Austin, Texas, Sandy was the cherished daughter of Virgil and Eloise Trevino. She grew up surrounded by family, faith, and love: values she carried throughout her life. A devoted Catholic, Sandy was an active member of St. Matthew's Catholic Church, where she found great strength and community.

Sandy's greatest joy was her family. She was a devoted wife to Brandon Ottea and a proud mother to her sons, Wyatt and Hudson, who were the light of her life. Her faith was the cornerstone of her home; she found peace and purpose in her daily spiritual life and especially loved to pray the rosary. Her strength, warmth, and laughter filled every room she entered, leaving an enduring mark on everyone who knew her.

She is preceded in death by her father, Virgil Benjamin Trevino, Jr.; her paternal grandparents, Dr. Virgil Trevino and Esperanza Cortez; and her maternal grandparents, Cipriana Aguilar de Salas and Juan Salas Dominguez.

She is survived by her loving husband, Brandon Ottea; her sons, Wyatt and Hudson Ottea; her mother, Eloise Trevino; siblings, Victor Trevino and wife Adriana, and Jennifer Crawford and husband Kenneth; as well as many nieces, nephews, and extended family who will forever cherish her memory.

Sandy's life was a testament to compassion, resilience, and unconditional love. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all whose lives she touched.
