Sandra Raelene Pershall
Age 64, a resident of Prairie Grove, Arkansas, went to be with the Lord and Savior on Saturday, March 30, 2024 at Willard Walker Hospice Home in Fayetteville, Arkansas. She was born April 18, 1959 in Stilwell, Oklahoma, the daughter of Billy John and Velma (Petty) Pershall.
Sandra was saved and baptized at an early age and loved the Lord. She graduated from Prairie Grove High School in 1977. She worked at SWEPCO in Fayetteville for years, after the office closed she graduated college, moved to Little Rock and worked for the Public Service Commission. She returned to Prairie Grove and sent the last nine years back at SWEPCO.
Sandy devoted her life to family. Her nephews and nieces were showered with love and gifts. She had an enduring love for animals of any kind, strays would always find her house and none were turned away. She was a very quiet and private person and never spoke harshly of anyone.
She was preceded in death by her father Bill Pershall, her grandparents Raymond and Henrietta Petty and grandparents Samie and Clara Mae Pershall.
Survivors include her mother Velma Pershall; one brother Rick Pershall and wife Teena; two nieces Tracy Watson and Tiffany Stevens and husband Josh; four great nephews Jacob Watson and wife Macie, Tyce Watson, Barrett Watson and Mason Stephens; four great nieces Cambrey Watson, Payton Sisemore, Presley Stevens, and Avery Stephens; one great great nephew Beckham Watson; two uncles Carthel Petty and wife Carole, and Danny Pershall and wife Petra; cousins Kory Petty and wife Tami, Kelly Petty and wife Mae, Martha Petty, Dana Pershall and Bill Pershall.
Funeral service will be held Saturday, April 6, 2024 - 2:00 P.M. at the Prairie Grove Christian Church.
