Mrs. Sandra Lee Melerine Phillip

Sandra Melerine Phillip, 62 co-owner of Tri Star Services, Inc. entered into Heaven on Wednesday, June 1, 2011 at Ochsner Medical Center, West Bank. She was born in New Orleans, La on October 27, 1948 and resided in Waggaman, LA for the majority of her life. She graduated from West Jefferson High School in 1966. Daughter of the late Anthony L. “Tony� and Doris “Dot� Calandro Melerine. Sister of Anthony L. “Buddy� Melerine, Jr. Loving wife and best friend of 44 years to Victor "Buddy" S. Phillip, Sr. Proud parent of Wanda “Cookie� Dantin Spouse Joseph “Joe� Dantin and Victor S. Phillip, Jr. spouse of Sandy Champagne Phillip. She leaves behind to cherish her memories four grandchildren; Joseph “Joey� Dantin, Victor S. Phillip, III, Vance G. Phillip and Brianna B. Dantin. Also survived by numerous sisters and brother-in-laws, nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at LAKE LAWN METAIRIE FUNERAL HOME, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. (in Metairie Cemetery) on Monday, June 6, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Metairie Cemetery.
