Sandra Miller Rupp

Sandra Miller Rupp (Sandy), age 86, of Towson, Maryland, passed away peacefully at home on December 3, 2025. She left this world with her husband by her side, just like he has been for the past 64 years.

Sandy was born in Baltimore, Maryland on May 25, 1939, to Helen Frank Miller. She was raised by her mother and grandparents, Helen and Elwood Smith in Baltimore, where she remained until she married in July 1961. She attended Eastern High School and graduated from Towson University, with a degree in Education. She then taught in the Baltimore City Public School system until retiring to raise her own family.

Sandy's greatest joys came from cooking for and attending family dinners, doting on her dogs, time at the beach, reading books, gardening, and participating in neighborhood clubs and associations. In her later years, she became a self-taught savvy investor.

She is survived by her husband Gordon, children Suzanne DeMallie and her husband Craig, Jeffrey Rupp and his wife Ashley, and grandchildren Kathryn, Anna, Mitchell, Christopher, Megan, and Phoebe.

A ceremony to celebrate her life is being planned for a later date, soon to be announced. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to Trinity Episcopal Church or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
