Sandra Leah Sandel, beloved mother and cherished grandmother, passed away peacefully on December 25, 2025, in Belton, Texas. Born on October 10, 1942, in Port Neches, Texas, she lived a vibrant life filled with love and devotion to her family.
Sandra dedicated herself to her career as an auto dealer, where her commitment and work ethic earned her respect among colleagues and clients alike. She was known for her warm personality and infectious smile, which endeared her to many throughout her life.
An alumna of the Port Neches school district, Sandra carried the values of education and hard work with her throughout her journey. Her passion for life extended beyond her career; she took great joy in the simple pleasures. Sandra had a special fondness for yellow roses, a symbol of friendship and joy that mirrored her own spirit. She loved spending time with her family, creating lasting memories that will forever remain in their hearts.
Sandra is survived by her beloved children: Alfred (Bubba) Prejean Jr.; Patricia Smith, along with her husband, Don Smith, of Geneva, Texas; Elizabeth Prejean of Belton, Texas; Linda Prejean of Geneva, Texas; and Sharla Prejean of Monmouth, Illinois. She was also the proud grandmother of nine grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren, who brought her immense joy and pride.
A memorial service to honor Sandra's life and legacy will take place on December 30, 2025, at 10:00 AM, at Crotty Funeral Home & Cremation Services, located at 5431 U.S. Hwy 190, Belton, Texas 76513.
