Sandra Sanders, a woman of remarkable talent, dedication, and warmth, passed away, leaving behind a legacy woven with love and creativity. Born on October 17, 1960, Sandra spent her life brightening the world around her, whether through her professional achievements or the intricate stitches of her favorite hobbies.
In her earlier years, Sandra loved her family and friends fiercely. She was the thread that held her circles together, always offering a listening ear, a helping hand, or a handmade gift.
Beyond her community work, Sandra had a distinguished career at EG&G. Known for her work ethic and reliability, she earned the respect of her colleagues and made lasting contributions to her field. She balanced her professional drive with genuine kindness, making her a pillar in her workplace community. While at EG&G, Sandra's compassion extended deeply into her community. She spent significant time volunteering at the Children's Justice Center, dedicating her energy to supporting children in need.
Sandra was rarely seen with idle hands. She was a true artisan who found peace and joy in the tactile arts of knitting, crocheting, and sewing. For Sandra, these weren't just hobbies-they were her way of showing love. Her family and friends are left with cherished handmade pieces that serve as soft, warm reminders of her patience and skill.
Sandra's spirit lives on in the stories shared by those who knew her and the beautiful works of art she left behind.
She is survived by her siblings, nieces, and nephews: Sherri (Tim) Rydalch, nephew Nick, great- nephews Beau and Jack; Danny (Michelle) Sanders, niece Chancy (Koby) Shields, great-nieces CarLeigh and HazLeigh, nephew Drew (Libby), Chris Corey, nephews Brant and Jax, Brian (Arlene) Corey, niece Jayce, nephew Gavin, Allan Ray Corey Jr., and niece/daughter Xynthea.
She is preceded in death by her beloved parents: Mildred Corey and Allen Corey Sr.
Sandra will be deeply missed but never forgotten. Her warmth remains in every stitch she crafted and every life she touched.
A memorial service will be held at Tate Mortuary, 110 South Main Street, Tooele, Utah, on Friday, February 27, 2026, at 2:00 pm, followed by dedication at Stockton Cemetery.
