Sandra "Sandy" M. Staniszewski, born on July 14, 1960, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, passed away on May 11, 2025, in Hustisford, Wisconsin, after bravely battling cancer.
Sandy's education was marked by her graduation from Milwaukee Area Technical School, earning an Associates Degree in Culinary Arts. Her passion for cooking and the culinary arts was reflected in her love for baking, one of the many hobbies she cherished. She was admired for her role as the opening manager at Jimmy John's, where her work ethic and leadership flourished. Sandy also had a profound love for lighthouses and dolphins, and she often found joy in casino trips and immersing herself in the pages of her favorite books. Together with her husband, James "Jim" Staniszewski, she shared many unforgettable road trips and vacations, creating lasting memories along the way. She was an avid Green Bay Packers fan, which undoubtedly brought excitement and camaraderie within her family.
Sandy leaves behind a loving family who will deeply miss her. She is survived by her devoted husband, Jim Staniszewski. She was a beloved mother to three sons: Nicholas Wilson, Robert (Lindsey) Wilson, and Tyler (Lindsay) Kluth. Sandy took great pride in being a grandmother to her five grandchildren: Kyilee, Kennedy, Carter, Makala, and Tripoli. Her siblings, Sherry, Michael (Tracy), and Stephanie, also hold cherished memories of their time together. Dear sister in law of Debbie (Mike) Sztukowski and Beth (Andrew) Mueller.
Sandy is preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Arlene Kniess and by her brother in law Mark Staniszewski. The legacy of her love, warmth, and spirited personality will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
A memorial gathering and a service in honor of Sandy's life are scheduled to take place on May 22, 2025, at Max A. Sass & Sons Funeral and Cremation Greenridge Chapel in Greenfield, Wisconsin. The gathering will begin at 4:00 PM, followed by a memorial service at 7:00 PM.
