Sandra Schultz-Peters Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Lewis Crematory & Funeral Services, Myrtle Beach on Jun. 15, 2024.
Sandra Schultz-Peters, 66, of Myrtle Beach, SC, tragically passed away on June 13, 2024, in Myrtle Beach. She was born in Pittsburgh, PA, to the late Stanley and Mary Schultz. Sandra was the beloved widow of Raymond Peters. She is survived by her brother Tony Schultz(Gina) of Naples, FL; her brother David Schultz of Myrtle Beach, SC; her son Jason Peters(Michelle) of Reading, PA; and Colin Peters of Blakeslee, PA.
Sandra cherished her family deeply and will be remembered for her warmth, kindness, and generous spirit. She had a passion for reading, knitting, and exercising. Sandra especially loved dogs and was well-known in her neighborhood for walking her furry companion, Sophie. Her compassion for caring for others was evident in her profession as a nurse practitioner, through which she touched many lives with her dedication and empathy.
Sandra greatly enjoyed spending time with her grandsons, Austin and Jared, her nieces Carly and Hannah, and her great-nephew, Cameron. She was looking forward to her retirement in December and had plans to travel the world embarking on new adventures and making cherished memories.
Sandra had a significant impact on her neighbors and community, forming close bonds and touching many lives through her book and knitting clubs, dog park, and neighborhood/beach walks. It is hard to believe she is gone, but God put her on Earth for a reason, and she fulfilled her purpose with grace and love.
A burial service to celebrate Sandra Schultz-Peters' life will be held at St. Michael Catholic Church Columbarium on Monday, July 1st at 10:00 AM. St. Michael Catholic Church is located at 542 Cypress Ave, Garden City, SC 29576.

I had the greatest pleasure of working with Sandy at Carenow. Sandy always had the brightest smile in the room. No matter how bad of a day we were having, you could count on Sandy to have a smile on her face and it was infectious. Sandy will forever be a part of my heart and her infectious smile will carry throughout our clinics. She will forever be in our hearts as she has touched all of our hearts. We love you Sandy.

I worked with Sandy at Conway Pediatrics. She was spunky, full of life, and a joy to be around. I am saddened to hear of her tragic death. Praying for her family to find peace. She loved her family dearly.

I met Sandy at the dog park. I so enjoyed our talks and watching Luther play with his friend Lily, who was also a Great Dane. Sandy was a very sweet friend!

We both had a love for our our 4 legged furbabies. She had her Great Dane and I had my English Mastiff. She was my NP at my GI Dr. office when I met her. She was the sweetest, kindest, empathetic nurse I have ever met. You have gained your wings, Sandy, you will be greatly missed by all.

I worked with sandy for years at Doctors Care in Myrtle Beach. She was such a positive woman and made everyone feel cared for and seen. She was a bright light in my life and I will miss talking about our mutual love of dogs and children. She left a huge impact on my life and will be missed immensely. I have made it my goal to live like Sandy.

Sandy truly brightened my day when she'd come in shopping @ Food Lion..She always asked how Doggie ,TJ & I were doing. It used to make me smile seeing a doggie head stickin' out of her cars sunroof.

Although I did not know Sandra, my heart was so heavy of her senseless death.
I like Sandra went to the beach often to enjoy the coastal vibes, read a book, walk the water´s edge, chat with others.
Praying for her Family & friends to find support & peace in the days ahead.

Sandra was my nurse practitioner at Dr Vockov´s office, and later I went to I believe care first and she took care of me there. She remembered me from before. Which made me me feel good. She was always so kind and pleasant. She was a very dear person.
