Sandra Kay "Sandy" Scott, 74, passed away on December 21, 2025, in Show Low, Arizona. Born on September 9, 1951, in Boulder, Colorado, Sandy was the daughter of Walter Goodell and Bonnie Shipley.
She grew up with a strong sense of kindness and a generous spirit that remained with her throughout her life.
Sandy shared her life with her beloved husband, Cliff Scott. They were married on February 14, 1986-Valentine's Day. Together, they built a life marked by devotion, partnership, and resilience. Their life together was filled with hard work, laughter, dancing, travel, and deep companionship, including many years of adventure living and traveling throughout the country.
She is lovingly remembered by her children: Richard Clifford, Stephanie Wickham, and Steven Scott. Her memory also lives on through her sisters, Jana Ketner and Dee Schaffer, and her stepmother, CJ Goodell. Sandy was a proud grandmother to nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Dale Goodell; and her daughter, Christa Clifford.
Sandy had a joyful passion for life's simple pleasures. She delighted in collecting mice figurines, a hobby that brought her much happiness over the years. A devoted fan of Elvis Presley, she found joy in his music and often danced along to his timeless tunes. Football Sundays were a cherished tradition, and she loved the excitement of the game.
Those who knew Sandy will remember her as someone who was always kind and willing to help when she could. Her warmth touched many lives, and she will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
May her memory bring comfort to those who knew and loved her. A viewing will be held on January 9, 2026, at 9:00 a.m., followed by the service at 10:00 a.m., at Owens Livingston Mortuary, 320 N. 9th Street, Show Low, Arizona.
