Sandra Kaye "Sandy" Shafer

I am so sorry to hear of Sandy's passing. I worked with her at Public Aid years ago and have such fond memories. She taught me so much. She was not only a coworker, but a very special friend. I remember having dinner with her and your dad at their beautiful home and how proud she was of her family. Hang on to all of your great memories. Sending thoughts and prayers for comfort to all the family.

Tonya, Troy and the rest of the family I send you my love and prayers. Sandy was a good friend and neighbor I will miss her very deeply as I I know you will. I met Sandy on several random occasions before getting to know her at water aerobics. I wished her wonderful journey to a beautiful resting place. I sadly will not make her home going service but my heart and love is with her and the family.

I have had the pleasure of knowing Sandy the last few years at aerobic swimming. She has been a joyful and kind friend, sharing thoughts and stories as well as listening to mine. I will miss her bright smile and presence there. She gave me a vine from a beloved philodendron. It has grown, making my kitchen beautiful. I will think of Sandy often. Sending much sympathy to all of you in her family - especially to you, Tonya....

I am so sorry to see this. I just texted her telling her I wanted to meet for lunch somewhere. I worked side-by-side with Sandy for several years. My thoughts and prayers are with the family. (We will be out of town Friday so we won´t be able to make the Funeral). But
