Sandra Sherrod Obituary
Sandra was born on June 17, 1947, in Tennessee. Later moving to Florida, she spent most of her childhood in Jacksonville, Florida. She has lived in Carteret County for the past 28 years where she most recently worked at Cowells Cleaners in Newport where she was the manager. Sandra was an avid reader and a talented seamstress.
She is survived by her sons, Sean Sherrod and fiancé Catherine Barnes of Newport and Trevor Sherrod and girlfriend Whitney of Hendersonville, NC; sister, Minnie McElveen of Booneville, AR; nieces, Connie Ward and husband Martin of Canton, GA and Dawn Browder and husband Bill of Jacksonville, FL; along with other loving nieces and nephews.
