Sandra Lee Sites

Memorial Visitation, honoring the life of Sandra Lee Sites, 72, of St. Louisville will be held on Friday, August 18, 2023, from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral Home, 179 Granville St., Newark. Honoring Sandi's wishes, she will be cremated, and her ashes scattered at a favorite spot.
Sandi passed away Monday, August 7, 2023, at her home, following an extended illness. She was born in Willard, Ohio on December 9, 1950, the daughter of the late Raymond and Virginia (Reinholtz) Carpenter. Sandi was a long-time employee of Newark City Schools as an administrative assistant. She loved sports, and enjoyed watching sporting events on T.V. and watching her grandkids play sports.
She is survived by her loving family: husband Gary, whom she married on September 9, 1970; her son Scott (Megan) of Cincinnati, Sam (Amy) of Newark and Shawn (Ashley) of Columbus; her grandkids: Jake (fiancée Emilee), Josh, Katie, Addison, Anderson and Allison; her siblings: Barbara (Joe) Parrilla, Terry Carpenter, Cheryl (Brian) Williams, sister-in-law Becky Carpenter (Mrs. Raymond), along with her in-laws: Larry (Kate) Sites, Richard (Janet) Sager, Marcia (Tim) Carpenter, Loretta (Tim) Megahan, Beth (Todd) Walton and Colleen Sites (Mrs. George); along with many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers Richard and Raymond, and her brother-in-law George.
The family would like to thank Ohio's Hospice for their expert care and assistance with keeping Sandi at home. Memorial contributions may be made to them in her memory. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
