I was so sad to learn of the passing of Sandy Stone. She was so loving and open-minded, welcoming to everyone, and marched to the beat of her own drum. My wife Karen and I have been laughing and crying as we share fond memories of her. My condolences to her family. We will all miss her, but I have no doubt that she has ascended somewhere beautiful.

Oh Sandy, how could I forget? As you walked down the aisle to wed Terry, I was crying; you looked and rolled those big brown eyes with a huge smile.

Sandy, you will be missed by everyone. I have many memories of you from the day you were born. I was 13 and everyone was at the hospital waiting for you to enter the world. We were all so happy that you were on your way.

I remember singing to you when you were little. I remember how you pronounced words that you learned then. All the funny things that happened between you and your siblings. Like smearing mustard on your brother at Brenda's softball game. It was quite entertaining to watch you kids grow up.

You always had so much love to give to everyone. You raised a wonderful son. You were a special gift of God. We all miss you and you will always be in our hearts. A special angel is now here for all of us.

Sandy was such a Bright Light her smile lit up the room , she had a sparkle in her eyes and she preached with the love of Jesus in her heart. Rest in peace beautiful Sandy, your light shines on.

Our journey will be colder and lonelier without Sandy to shepherd us along...or goat-herd us in some cases. I hope St. Peter has a load of goat, chicken and dog feed on hand, he's gonna need it.

Condolences to all of the family of Sandy. She answered God's call and served all His people. When that service was done , God called her home. She liked to hike with all her dogs and goats in the woods of Cedar Hill. I can see her hiking freely now with her Savior, Jesus Christ, leading her to the throne of God, the Father through the power of the Holy Spirit. Thank you for your service, Sandy! Please pray for us.
