With a vibrant career in retail management, Sandra embraced each holiday season with unparalleled zest, transforming every celebration into a memorable event. Her home was a haven of warmth, where she showcased her incredible talents as a hostess and cook. Friends and family fondly recall her baking, which brought delight to every gathering, while they also had a good-natured laugh at her consistent ability to burn popcorn, beans, and bacon—a reminder of her human side amidst her remarkable culinary skills.
A passionate traveler, Sandra found joy in exploring especially the beaches, which were always a source of inspiration and relaxation for her. Her penchant for shopping went beyond merely grabbing items; giving to others was a true reflection of her generous spirit. When not indulging in her love for food, Sandra immersed herself in the magical worlds of Harry Potter and Star Wars, nurturing her adventurous imagination.

She fiercely defended her daughters, Melissa Portillo, Laura (Vicente) Fernandez, and Dorene (Julian) Davila, exhibiting an unwavering love that transcended any challenges they faced. Each of these individuals carries a piece of her spirit, ensuring that her love will continue to resonate through the generations.
She is predeceased by her beloved parents, Paul and Dora (nee Fugate) Campbell, and her dear puppies, Maja and Flaco, who surely welcomed her with open paws.
