Sandra Vallozzi Obituary

Sandra Lee Vallozzi passed away on Jan. 30, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on Jan. 14, 1952, to Sally and Donald Bossart. She was preceded in death by her parents, her son, Chad Vandyke; and her siblings, Donald, Stan, Gary, and Charles Bossart. Despite life's hardships, Sandy always maintained a positive and humorous outlook, a gift she passed on to those she loved. She found joy in crafting, cooking, yard work, and shopping, but above all, her greatest love was her family. She made it her life's mission to care for others, always serving as their rock and source of strength. Sandy had a special way of brightening a room, whether through her laughter or her cooking. Her warmth, kindness, and unwavering love will be deeply missed. If love could have saved her, she would have lived forever. She is survived by her husband, Michael Vallozzi; her children, Rocco Pifferetti, and his wife, Miranda, of Hunker, Sam Barron of Herminie, and Randy VanDyke of MD; her grandchildren, Darren Nicholas, Cody Smith, Emma, and Maria Vandyke; and her sisters, Debbie Thomas of Ruffs Dale, Darlene Fetty of Pittsburgh, and Teresa Geska of Ruffs Dale. Per Sandra's wishes, there will be no services. Personalized funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the C. RICHARD MCCAULEY FUNERAL HOME, INC., 101 S. 4th St., Youngwood. I was very sorry to hear that Sandy had passed. Being that she, and Mike, lived close to my parents, I had grown up with Rocco as a child. I have many fond memories of not only Sandy, but also Mike, Sam, and some of the other family members that I had met when I was younger. Sandy, and Mike, have always treated me just like family for as long as I´ve known them. They both have always been very kind to me over the years. When my father passed a few years ago, they were some of the first people to reach out to me, and my family, with kind words / sympathy. I will never forget Sandy, or all of the things Rocco, and I, got in to as kids. My heart goes out to Rocco, Mike, Sam, and the rest of the family, as I am sure this has been a very rough time for all of them. I wish all of them the best, and I am sure that Sandy is flying high with the angels now. Unfortunately we have all lost loved ones along life´s path, and it´s never easy on the heart, or the mind. May Sandy rest in peace. Forever happy. Pain / problem free. She was one of the "good ones" that I was fortunate enough to meet, and share some time with in this life. She will surely be missed by many. Thank you for the many memories Sandy......

Sandy was a beautiful soul, she always found humor in everything, and she loved to decorate her home, a lot! She was a great mother and taught her children that hard work and determination pays off and was the biggest fan of her kids, cheering them on no matter what they did. She was thoughtful and always asked how your family was doing when she saw you, she was a very special lady who was set in her ways and that´s what made Sandy so great. My Condolences to Mike, Rocco, Sam, and the rest of the family, I´m so sorry for your loss.
