Sandra Williams-Squillace Obituary
Sandra Lee Williams-Squillace (nee: Loesch), age 84, went to her final rest on her birthday, June 30, 2024.
Sandra was the beloved wife of the late John Williams and the late George Squillace; loving mother of the late Sharon Williams, Mary Kris (Jeff) Ferguson, and the late John "Randy" Williams Jr.; mother-in-law of Jennifer Williams; devoted grandmother of Alex Williams, Elaine Williams, Andrew Ferguson, Emily Ferguson, Mitchell Williams, and Lydia Ferguson; daughter of the late Russell and the late Mary Loesch; dear sister of Ron (the late Sharon) Loesch and the late Sharon Schildroth; sister-in-law of the late Brian (Kathleen) Williams, Clarice Squillace, and the late Frances Calvin; and aunt of John Schildroth, Jeff (Terra) Schildroth, Paul Loesch, and Sherry Woollard.
Sandra was a person of great personal faith, a wonderful homemaker, an educator, and an all-around good person. When she lived in Caseville she would volunteer her time and energy at her church's charity store, Helping Hands. She was known by her grandchildren as "Grandma Kitty". She adored her nickname as well as her grandchildren. She loved to spend time with each of them and be an active person and role-model in their lives. Sandra loved cooking breakfast for everyone, especially her famous crepes. Her baking was also popular, with her cookies being incredible. One of her favorite things to do was to spend time with her family up north at one of the family cottages, making innumerable memories with them. Other pastimes she enjoyed in life were quilting, playing cards, gardening, reading, and watching her shows (one of her favorites was Expedition Unknown). It would be a travesty to not mention her extensive collection of gnomes, which she has collected over many years. She just loved those little things!
Visitation Sunday, July 7, from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Wysocki & Wilk Funeral Home, 29440 Ryan Road, Warren, Michigan. Instate Monday, July 8, from 12:00 p.m. until the 1:00 p.m. Funeral Service at the 1st Presbyterian Church of Warren, 3000 12 Mile Road, Warren, Michigan.

I met Sandy on my very first day of college. As a senior she was able to give this freshman quite a bit of guidance. We had a wonderful year as housemates.
