Sandra Lynn Yenoskey, 81, of Brookville, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, at Penn Highlands Hospital in DuBois.
She was born in Summerville on June 29, 1944, to the late Joseph J. and Velma N. (Brogan) Yenoskey.
Sandra attended Summerville school as a child, graduated from Brookville High School, and obtained several degrees from Clarion University.
She was a member of the Brookville Presbyterian Church.
Sandra was employed at the New Bethlehem Burial in New Bethlehem and at Heffner Brothers in Hawthorn, until her retirement. She later worked for several years as a transportation driver for Ride Right in Brookville and also worked at Cook Riverside Cabins in Cooksburg.
She held a deep affection for animals, especially cats and dogs.
Her greatest joy in life was found in mowing her lawn, and she had a particular fondness for Harley-Davidson motorcycles.
Sandra had an agreeable personality, got along well with others, and consistently displayed a cheerful expression. Regardless of the situation, she was always willing to lend a helping hand to those who required her assistance with a warm and welcoming smile. Sandra will be remembered for her kind disposition and infectious laugh.
Sandra is survived by her dearest friend, Clarinda Darr; niece and nephews, Cheryl Van Dale McMurray, Kevin Van Dale, and Kyle Van Dale; as well as numerous other friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Eugene "Bud" Van Dale. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
At the wishes of Sandra, all services will be held privately.
Interment will take place privately at the Vandervort Cemetery, Summerville, Jefferson County.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Carrier Funeral Home, located at 2834 Maplevale Road in Brookville.
