Sandy Yurko's untimely death is a loss for all who were fortunate enough to have known her. She had a rare combination of wonderful qualities - kindness, unselfishness, friendliness, to name only a few. I always felt that Sandy was a "what you see is what you get" kind of person, who had no pretenses. Sandy babysat and mothered her grandchildren and children of her close friends, helping to shape their young minds and hearts. There is no doubt that Sandy made a positive impact on the lives of the many people who were part of her world. My condolences to Dave and all of Sandy's family. She made the world a better place and will be greatly missed.

Sandy was me best friend starting in 3rd grade at Queen of Aposltles School. There are not words to express how sad I feel about her passing. She was a wonderful person and will be missed deeply by many. My prayers are with all of her family. I was so blessed to have her in my life. Love and prayers, Rosemary (Gross) Barrett
