Combine a love of laughter, nature, and self discovery, and you will have the beautiful soul of Sandy Knippen. Her kindness toward all others and her deep, deep love for her children, family, and friends knew no bounds. Sandy transitioned to Heaven on December 22nd to be with so many who also love her and awaited her with joy. She is survived by her daughter and son. Those left will celebrate her spirit of grace, gratitude, and warmth forever. A graveside service will be held on January 9th at 3:00 p.m.. at Grandview Cemetery in Maryville, TN. At a later date to be announced a celebration of life for Sandy and her husband, Jay, will be held in Maryville, TN her current residence and in Tampa, Florida at their beloved home on Lake Magdalene where they lived for over 40 years. In lieu of any flowers, donations can be sent to The LIFE Center of the Suncoast, 813-237-3114 [email protected] or just comfort those dear to you and spread love. Her lifelong goal was to uplift those around her, and she did, and so will we in her honor.
