Santos Barrera, age 92, of Stanton, TX, went to his Heavenly Home, March 26, 2026. Santos was born November 2, 1933 in Seguin, TX to the late Seferina Guzman Barrera and Maximo L. Barrera.

Santos was a very active parishioner of St. Josephs Catholic Church in Stanton, TX and a member of the Knights of Columbus.

Santos is preceded in death by his parents, as well as his wife Rita Barrera.

Left to cherish his memories are his daughters; Juanita B. Vasquez and husband Louis, Maria B. Rejino and husband Lupe, Ramona B. Moreno and husband Ruben, Linda Sue Martinez and husband Jesus, Guadalupe B. Hagle and husband Wayne, Rita Alaniz and husband Armando, sons; Santos Barrera Jr. and wife Reina, Luis R. Barrera, Robert Barrera and wife Lisa, Martin Barrera, and Joel Barrera, thirty three grandchildren, eighty three great-grandchildren, and forty five great-great grandchildren.

A visitation will be held Tuesday, March 31, 2026 at Stanton Memorial Funeral Home, 408 N St. Peter Stanton, TX 79782 from 10:00am to 8:00pm with a rosary being recited at 7:00pm. A Funeral Mass will be held April 1, 2026 at 10:00am at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Stanton, TX. Interment will immediately follow at St. Josephs Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please send donations to Martin County Senior Center, Martin County Food Pantry, St. Josephs Catholic Church.
