Sara Jane “Janie” Buckley, 79 of Bowling Green passed peacefully surrounded by her family on Wednesday, March 25, 2026 at her residence.
The Warren County native was the daughter of the late Hatley and Ollie Caskey Fox. She was the wife of the late Billy R. Buckley. Janie was preceded in death by two sisters, Laverne Lee Fox and Barbara Ann Lee and two brothers-in-law, Alfonzo Lee and Lucian Lee. She was retired from Holley Automotive, a member of Plum Springs Baptist Church and Bowling Green and Nashville Corvette Clubs.
She is survived by her daughter, Buffy Watt, grandson, Tyler Allen (Lindsey), Great Granddaughter, Elizabeth Allen, one sister, Sandra Parker (Tommy) and several nieces and nephews. Her two best friends, Ann Hurt and Ruth Ann Tanzer (Wayne).
The family will honor her wish to be cremated under the direction of Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Bowling Green Chapel.
