Sara and I were neighbors and good friends for many years beginning in 7th grade. Had many good times with the Drescher family.

Sara's been part of my life since 7th grade. We went to high school and college together and have remained in contact all these years. We were friends, boyfriend/girlfriend, and then friends again. She was the sweetest girl and I never heard her say a mean word about anyone. I'm so thankful that she was able to touch so many lives through her work as a teacher. I will miss her.

I remember Sara doing a lot of bouncing around when I visited your home during our grade school days. She was always so perky. My condolences to you, Sandy, to lose both of your sisters in such a short time. I will keep you in my thoughts.

I have so many memories of Sara. I believe our mothers shared a hospital room when we were born a day apart, and we both share the same middle name. We were in scouting activities together, the clarinet section in band, church activities, and the singles group that Sara led many years ago. Please accept my condolences on your loss. So many good memories at the Drescher home and with your family. Sara will be missed.

Sara is one of only a handful of memories I have of Quincy, along with the rest of the Drescher and Smith families from Central Baptist. I was only around 4 when we moved to Texas and beyond, and even though I only saw Sara a few times after we left, we kept in correspondence including the birthday card she sent every year.
Sara was a special person who touched so many lives. She will be missed.
