Sara Inman Killian passed away on August 22, 2023, at the age of 78 in Knoxville, TN. She was born on June 2, 1945, in Union, SC to Johnny and Eva Gault Inman. Sara was preceded in death by her parents, as well as her brothers Herbert and Dean Inman, and sisters Shirley Gregory and Mary Wilburn. She was also preceded in death by her infant sons Hugh Fowler III and Charles Fowler.
Sara had a fulfilling career in life insurance sales, where she made a positive impact on the lives of many individuals and families. Her dedication and expertise in the field were greatly appreciated by her clients and colleagues.
Sara is survived by her loving husband Lee Killian of Bulls Gap, TN, her daughter Eva Ross of Bulls Gap, TN, and her son Donnie Fowler, and his wife Angela of Union, SC. She is also survived by her brother Bo Inman of Union, SC, her sister Janice Kilpatrick of Killeen, TX, and her brother Gerald Inman, also of Killeen, TX, her stepdaughters, Audrey and husband Lanny Hillon, Tammy and husband Darren Richardson and their families of Morristown, TN.
Sara will be deeply missed by her grandchildren Robert Fowler, Amanda Woods, CJ Ross, Casey Hillon, Rebekah Wagner, Danielle Cooper, and Conner Richardson. Her great-grandchildren Gianna Fowler, Gavin Woods, Paisley Murphy-Fowler, and Caden Cooper.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 9, 2023, at 1:00 pm at Mt. Joy Baptist Church, 657 Pea Ridge Hwy Jonesville SC conducted by Rev. Chad Ponder.
