Sara Medrano Landeros, 81, of Davenport, passed away Monday, December 4, 2023 at her home.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, December 7, 2023 at St. Anthony's Church, Davenport, IA with visitation one hour prior to Mass at the church. Burial will be at Mt Calvary Cemetery, Davenport.
Sara was born May 21, 1942 in Magdalena de Araceo, GTO, Mexico, the daughter of Vicente Medrano and Maria Guadalupe Morales. She married Antonio Landeros on December 20, 1961 in Magdalena de Araceo, GTO, Mexico.
Sara was an avid reader and cook and she was always in prayer.
Survivors include her husband, Antonio; children, Sonia (Jose) Gonzalez, Davenport whom she and Antonio raised as a daughter; 4 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren and brothers, Vicente (Maria Luz Morales) Medrano, Mexico, Alfredo Medrano, Mexico, Adolfo (Maria Guadalupe) Medrano, Mexico and Salvador (Ofrecina) Medrano, Mexico. She was preceded in death by her brother, Manuel Medrano and sisters, Maria de los Angeles Medrano and Ofeia Medrano.
