Sara Patterson Obituary

Sara Louise Stamey Patterson, 89, of Calhoun, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, February 21, 2026. She was born in Calhoun, Georgia, on December 20, 1936, to the late Bryan and Grace Stamey. She is survived by her sons, Keith (Renae) Shelton, Chris (Elizabeth) Patterson; daughters, Lynn (Glenn) Warren, Donna (Randall) Woody, Amy (Bobby) Lee; brothers, Robert "Bob" (Charlcie) Stamey, Larry (Sue) Stamey; sisters, Maxine Hudson, Marie (Jimmy) Thomas, Lynda (Sam) King; grandchildren, Samuel (Ana) Beasley, Dustin (Kristie) Webb, Colt Chambers, Kelsey (Danner) Warren, Haley (Maurice) Hicks, Cody Patterson, Cameron Patterson, Garrett Patterson, Kenneth Lee, Ginger Miller; great-grandchildren, Mikayla Beasley, Harper Beasley, Tulley Webb, Tinsley Webb, Serenity Webb, Willow Webb, Izik Shelton, Nolen Hicks, Sarah Patterson, Will Miller, Jake Miller; special friends, Jane and Lester Harrison, Wayne and Julie Gillespie, Barbara Gallimore, John Gubachi; a host of nieces and nephews also survive.

Louise was fondly known to her family as Mama, Granny, and Aunt Si. She was loved more than she could ever have truly known. Most important to her was her love and devotion to her Lord and Savior. She served and trusted Him to the end. Her greatest desire is for her family and loved ones to meet her in Heaven. She prayed daily for this and witnessed to others every chance she could.

Louise was the most hardworking woman you'll ever meet. She took pride in growing and sharing her garden. She had a yard full of beautiful flowers and loved to show them off. She raised chickens and shared eggs with anyone that came by. Giving to others made her heart happy. She loved fishing, camping, and being outside. After her love for the Lord, the most important thing to her was her family and spending time with them. Whether it be working or having fun, she just wanted to be with us and love on us!

The family will receive friends on Monday, February 23, 2026, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and Tuesday, February 24, 2026, from 12:00 Noon until 2:00 PM at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home.
