Sara Pusey Obituary
Salisbury - Sara R. Pusey, 90, of Fruitland, Maryland, died Wednesday June 16, 2021 at The Coastal Hospice by the Lake, where she had briefly been after a battle with Alzheimer's dementia.
She was born in Salisbury, Maryland and was the daughter of the late Inez Marie Lewis (nèe Ruark) and her father Robert R. Ruark. Sara completed the 8th grade of school as she and her sister were needed to help with the gardening and chores at home during the 1930s. She had the occasional short-term job, but dedicated most of her life to being a full-time housewife and mother.
Sara was the wife to the late Aubrey E. Pusey Sr. also of Fruitland. She is survived by her son Aubrey E. Pusey Jr. and his wife Linda Pusey of Fruitland, her daughter Bonnie S. Turner of Salisbury, six grandchildren, Steven Mills, Billy Mills, Brian Turner, Ryan Turner, Pamela Turner, Crystal Brunke and three great grandchildren.
Sara was preceded in death by her sister Anne Pryor Taylor of Fruitland.
The funeral service will be held Saturday June 26th at 11am at Holloway Funeral Home, Salisbury, MD. Visitation will be from 10am - 11am prior to the service.
