Sara Reichenau Obituary
Sara was born and raised in a large family in Tullahoma, TN, where she developed the values of hard work, integrity, and determination. Her passion for helping others was evident from a young age, leading her to pursue her Registered Nurse degree from Saint Thomas Hospital in Nashville, TN after graduating Tullahoma High School.
Throughout her career as an RN, Sara was known for her hard work and professionalism. She started her working life in Miami Beach and later moved back to Tullahoma to work at the Arnold Engineering Development Center Dispensary, where she met her husband who worked there as an aerospace engineer. She ended her career working in the emergency room at Harton Hospital in Tullahoma.
Sara was a devoted daughter, sister, and mother. She valued the time spent with family and was always there to help.
She is survived by sons David Reichenau and Benton Reichenau, daughters-in-law Beth Reichenau and Kendra Reichenau, grandchildren Peyton Reichenau and Lincoln Reichenau and siblings Ann Martin, Bud Willis, Beau Willis, and Linda Willis. She was preceded by her husband David Emil Albert Reichenau and siblings Horace Willis, Tommy Willis, Martha Thrower, and Pascal (Tykie) Willis.
Sara's memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew her. As we mourn her passing, we also celebrate the joy and love she brought into our lives.
A celebration of Sara's life will be held to honor her life and legacy in January. Friends and family will be invited to gather, share memories, and pay tribute to an extraordinary individual who will be deeply missed but never forgotten. Rest in peace, Sara Reichenau. Your light will continue to shine in the hearts of all who loved you.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a charitable organization of your choice in Sara's memory.
