Sarah M. Bratz, age 94, formerly of Reedsville, passed away Wednesday evening, December 3, 2025 at Brillion West Haven. She was born on February 10, 1931 in Rantoul, daughter of the late Henry and Emma (Last) Dallmann Sr. On November 26, 1955 she married Lawrence “Sonny” Bratz at Trinity Lutheran Church, Rantoul. He preceded her in death on May 18, 2022. Sarah was employed at Tecumseh in New Holstein for many years until her retirement. She was a member of the Ladies Aide and the Quilting Group at St. John St. James EV. Lutheran Church, Reedsville. Sarah enjoyed vegetable gardening, baking – especially her poppy seed torte and kolaches, embroidery, refinishing wood, canning and spending time with her grandchildren. She loved the Lord with a strong faith. Sarah enjoyed her dogs and walking all over Reedsville with them. Survivors include her two sons and daughters-in-law: Gregory (Debbie) Bratz, Brillion, Dan (Cami) Bratz, Reedsville; her grandchildren: Amanda (Derrik) Kane, Rockwood, Angie (Josh) Eickert, Brillion, Danielle (Patrick) Brick, Sherwood, Taylor (Wes) Helgeson, Appleton; great grandchildren: Collin, Jackson, Kyra, Ava, April, Jase, Kaiden, Landon, Norah and Jolie; and a sister-in-law: Bernita Dallmann. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, her siblings: Hildegard (Elmer) Krueger, Carl Dallmann, Anita (Clarence) Haelfrisch, Madeline Dallmann, Wilbert (Betty) Dallmann, Mildred (Victor) Watruba, Henry Dallmann Jr.; and in-laws: Sylvia (Elmer) Behnke, Luella (Everett) Wagner, Raymond (Florence) Bratz, Mabel (Lester) Buboltz, James Bratz, Theodore Bratz and Ruth (Harold) Panosh. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 11, 2025 at St. John – St. James Ev. Lutheran Church, Reedsville. Officiating at the Service will be the Rev. Thad Flitter with burial at St. John St. James Westside Cemetery. The family will greet relatives and friends at St. John St. James Ev. Lutheran Church, Reedsville, from 9:00 a.m. Thursday, December 11, 2025 until 10:45 a.m. Online condolences may be made. The Pielhop Funeral Homes of Reedsville and Brillion are assisting the family with funeral arrangements. The family would like to express a special thank you to Brillion West Haven and Heartland Hospice for the wonderful care extended to our mom. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated.
