With heavy hearts, we announce the tragic passing of Sarah Ann Carroll, who left this world far too soon on August 30, 2025, at the age of 20. Born on June 14, 2005, Sarah was the cherished daughter of James Carroll and Jennifer Thomas.

She will be forever missed by her loving siblings: Christian, Alicia, Katie, and Isaac. She was also the beloved granddaughter of Debra (Charles) Pascoe and Sherwin Thomas, and the late Robert Carroll and late Karen Beck. Sarah was blessed to know her great-grandparents Patricia Holder and Beverly (Colin) Olender, and is reunited in eternal peace with her late great-grandmother Darcella Carroll. She is survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless friends who loved her dearly. Among her closest friends was Makaila Roush, and her constant companions were her two cats, ReRe and PeePee.

Sarah's life was filled with laughter, adventure, and love. Known to be a little clumsy, her family fondly remembers her tumbles-from falling off her bike and needing an MRI, to sneezing near bushes and toppling right into them. She had a spirited and resilient nature, always bouncing back with a sarcastic remark and her signature feisty smile.

A dedicated student, Sarah was studying to enter the medical field and had already made the Dean's List at her school, reflecting her intelligence, determination, and bright future. She adored her eyelashes and nails, enjoyed heading over to Canada for the evening, and brought joy to those around her with her sweet, loving, and witty personality. Her family also remembers her well-known dislike for spiders-she really, really hated them!

Though her time here was far too brief, Sarah left an unforgettable imprint on everyone who knew her. She will be remembered for her strength, humor, and the love she gave so freely.

Visitation for Sarah will be held on Sunday, September 7, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Solosy Funeral Home in Lincoln Park, Michigan, with a funeral service at 7:00 PM.
