Sarah Lewis, 40, of Spotsylvania, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, February 23, 2023 at her home.
Sarah was an amazing woman whose greatest joys were her children, dogs and the beach. She had plans of moving to the beach as soon as she could. Her amazing maternal spirit and infectious personality will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her loving husband of 17 years, Nathan Lewis; her children, Hannah Shillingburg, Kailey Lewis and Gage Lewis; her mother, Teresa Howard (John); her father, Allen Shillingburg (Elena); her sisters, Amy Burns and Missy Dolan (Sean); her step-siblings, Timothy Jones, Jennifer Hedges, Rebecca Jones, Christopher Jones, Jeret Howard, Amanda Jackson, and Jacob Howard; her parents-in-law, Shirley and Leaman Lewis; her brothers-in-law, Leaman E. Lewis (Jessica) and Sean E. Lewis; her paternal grandparents, Al and Carol Shillingburg, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other loving extended family and friends.
A celebration of life will be held from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 1, 2023 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in her honor to Old Dominion Humane Society, 3602 Lafayette Blvd.,
