Sarah Ellen (Cranford) Lovette ,86 years old, formally of High Point N.C. passed away at The Landings of Oak Island in Oak Island N.C. on September 9th , 2025.

Born May 14th, 1939, in Guilford County, she was the daughter of the late Charles E. Cranford and Edith Rogers Cranford.

Sarah was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and sister, who loved her family. She was known for being a kind, loving and godly woman, who always had a smile on her face. Sarah was known for her delicious chocolate pies and her love for children (especially babies) and animals. She will be missed dearly.

She was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church in High Point, NC for many years and sang in the choir.

She is survived by her husband Claude A. Lovette Jr. of 70 years, daughter Kathy Lovette Carmichael and husband Rusty of Southport N.C. Sons, Terry Lovette of Thomasville N.C., Todd Lovette and wife Kathy of High Point N.C. Sister, Patsy Spence of Newport Tennessee, sisters-in-law Carol Mangum of High Point N.C. and Joanne Mckinney of Gibsonville N.C.

Eight grandchildren, Dr. William "Dusty" Carmichael, wife Ashley, Candace Carmichael, Brad Lovette, wife Jessica, Betsy Lovette, Blaine Lovette, wife Stephanie, Triston Lovette, wife Caroline, Kathryn Yow, husband Brandon, and Shiloh Lovette.

Ten great grandchildren, Finn Carmichael, Aidan Carmichael, Harper Carmichael, Isaiah Lovette, Bradley Lenore Lovette, Teddy Lovette, Emme Yow, Neal Yow, Noah Yow and Lainey Lovette.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her mother-in-law Mattie Lovette and father-in-law Jack Lovette; brothers Roger Dale Cranford and Gene Cranford; sisters Peggy McDaniel and Mary King.

The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Gentiva Hospice and the staff at The Landings of Oak Island who treated Sarah as their own.

Brunswick Funeral Services is serving the family. A Celebration of Life will be held at a future date.

In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to Gentiva Hospice in Bolivia N.C. or to your local animal shelter.
