Randy Charles Smith was born on January 12, 1964 in Austin, Texas Wilbert Smith and Ruby Lucille (Jackson) Smith. Randy's heavenly departure took place on Thursday, November 20, 2025 when he was called home by our Lord and Savior.

Randy was loved by many who will continue to honor his legacy by living their lives to the fullest. The simplest pleasures of life brought great happiness to Randy, such as his love for sports, watching the Dallas Cowboys and college football. He was the proud father of five children; he loved his family time. Nothing brought more happiness to him than when he was with his children and family. He was known for being the life of the party.

Randy accepted Jesus Christ at an early age and was baptized. He joined New Light Ebenezer Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Pastor Frank Cage where Randy served as an Usher, sang with the male chorus and was a part of the maintenance team. He later joined St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church (2019) under the leadership of Pastor Melvin S. Manor.

Randy attended public schools in Austin, Texas where he completed his education by receiving his High School Diploma.

Randy was preceded in death by his parents Wilbert and Ruby Lucille (Jackson) Smith.

Randy was married to Teresa (Neal) Smith, and to this union four children were born.

Randy leaves his children to cherish his memory, Randy Desmond Smith (Robynn), Cassandra Smith, Vanessa Smith, and Tunisia Smith all of Austin, TX and Samaria Sims of (Dallas, TX); his siblings Wilbert Smith, Jr., Calvin Eugene Smith (Monique), Peggy Lofton (Lonnie), Alma Smith, and Lois Jones (Artemus), all of Austin, TX. He was a proud grandfather of eight grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends.
