In loving memory of Sarah Lee Nibblins, age 90 who peacefully passed away on Wednesday, December 20, 2023. Sarah Lee was born February 7, 1933 in Culpeper Virginia to the late Winfrey and Elizabeth Robinson.
Sarah was survived by her children, Sarah Thompson, Joyce Nibblins, Betty Brown (Michael), Audrey Harrison (Jerry); four sisters, Hortence Waters, Daisy Harden, Sally White, Frances Gray; seventeen grandchildren, Mary, Lisa, Randolph, Pamela, Brenda, LaShon, Quincy, Jerry Jr., Shavon, Celeste, Timothy, Marcus, Clifford, Clifton, Christina, April, Valerie; and numerous great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Sarah is preceded in death by her husband Charlie Russell Nibblins; and six siblings, Jean Walker, Charles Robinson, James Robinson, Ebenezar Robinson, Evelyn Chase, Eleanor Webb.
Sarah was employed as a hospitality worker, a foster parent, and caregiver to adults with disabilities and a personal caregiver to the elderly.
Sarah found her greatest joy in her family as well as her service to the Lord. She was an active member of The Redeemed Church of Christ. She had many loves and talents as she loved cooking, baking, sewing, crafts, planning and entertaining family gatherings. Sarah enjoyed her personal travels, traveling with her church family, and family vacations. She was also a true Washington Redskins Fan (Commanders)! Of her loves and talents this only names a few.
A funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm on Saturday, December 30, 2023 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper Virginia with Elder Jerry L. Harrison officiating. The family will receive friends and family one hour prior to the service.
Interment will follow at the Robinson Family Cemetery on Chestnut Fork Road,
Culpeper, VA.
