Sarah Semple Obituary
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am Wednesday, January 8, 2025 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Teutopolis with burial in St. Francis Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm Tuesday at the church. Memorial donations may be given to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
Sarah was born April 8, 1986, in Effingham, the daughter of Charles and Lynn (Wessel) Semple. She graduated from Teutopolis High School in 2004 and furthered her education at Lakeland College in Mattoon and Illinois State in Normal. Sarah worked for Norris Electric and was a member of the St. Thomas Catholic Church, both in Newton. She enjoyed cross-stitching and was an avid fan of the St. Louis Cardinals.
Sarah is survived by her parents of Teutopolis; brother, Kevin (Caitlin) of St. Louis; grandmothers, Mary Semple of Effingham and Norma Wessel of Highland; niece, Norah and nephew, Miles.
Sarah was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Chester Semple and Leonard Wessel.
