Mrs. Sarah Elizabeth, age 75, a resident of Morton :

On the evening of May 25, 2025, Sarah Elizabeth Taylor peacefully returned to her Heavenly Father. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, her sisters, and her son, Billy Wayne. She is survived by her adoring husband, Norlyne Roy Taylor; her children, Julie Edwards(Kyle), Jamie Taylor, Donald Atkinson, and Debra Federick (Michael). She is also survived by her grandchildren; Brandon and Shina (Aurora, Luna, Persephone), Elyssa and Sebastian (Clayton, Payton, Maddie Grace), Kortni and Zachary (Kylii, Sawyer, Dakota Jayne, and Sophia), Darcy and Justin (Kip and Tinley), Isabella, Ely and Kelsey, and Kolton.

Sarah’s unwavering faith was the foundation of her life. She deeply loved Jesus and held her relationship with God close to her heart. Those fortunate enough to know her will remember her not only for her strength and love but also for her comically pain in the butt moments. Sarah had a spirited personality—she could be a handful at times, but always in the most unforgettable and endearing way.

She brought laughter, love, and light into our lives, and her absence leaves a space that cannot be filled. She will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved her.

Visitation for Mrs. Sarah will be 9:00am to 10:30am on Saturday, May 31, 2025 at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Morton MS; a graveside will follow at 11:00am Saturday, at East Morton Baptist Church Cemetery.
