Sarah Wommack

Sarah Wommack, 86, passed away peacefully on November 23, 2025, in Tallahassee, Florida, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on December 8, 1938, in Perry, Florida.

Sarah was a longtime member of Soul's Port United Pentecostal Church, where she faithfully served the Lord and found great joy in worship and fellowship. She was a devoted wife, married to her beloved husband, Donald Wommack for 64 years. Together, they raised four children, all of whom learned the importance of faith and service through her example.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Wommack; her daughter, Paula Avant; her granddaughter, Isabella Gardner; and her sister, Pat Bramlett.

She is survived by her sister, Voncile Sterling, her brother, Earl Tidwell, and her children: Donna (Walter) Gardner, Cynthia (Eric) Reeves, and Greg (Sandi) Wommack. She also leaves behind 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren, whom she adored, cherished, and truly spoiled-especially at Christmastime, her favorite holiday.

Sarah will be remembered for her love of cooking meals for her family and friends, her joy in decorating her home, beautifying her yard, and her peaceful moments spent at the beach or on her porch with a cup of coffee in hand. Her home was always open, her heart always welcoming, and her love always deeply felt.

Her legacy of faith, love, and generosity will live on in the many lives she touched.
