Savannah Teresa Ray, 30, of Hixon, Tennessee passed away Saturday, November 8, 2025 in the arms of her fiancé Kyle Daughtry. She was born in Ellijay, Georgia on January 15, 1995 to Robert Mercer Ray, Jr. and Bibi Monica Ray. She was a high school Presidential Scholar, and earned an LPN degree from Dalton College. She continued coursework at Georgia Southern University in Savannah, Georgia. Nursing was her passion and calling. This beautiful young woman was smart, creative, and caring. She loved nature and particularly rescuing dogs.

Savannah is survived by her mother, Bibi Ray and her partner Bunk Elliott; her father, Rob and his wife, Peggy; her fiancé Kyle Daughtry, her dog, Lila, her sister Alicia Edna Ray Manchego, her husband Chad and sons Leo and Liam; her half-brother Kenneth Robert Ray, his wife Karen and their children Xak and Nova; her half-brother Jeffrey Mattison Ray and his daughter, Lola; Aunt Silvya, and many friends. We will forever lovingly hold her memory within our hearts.

A celebration of Life will be held at Bernhardt Funeral Home in Ellijay, Georgia, on Sunday, November 23, 2025, with viewing at 12:00 p.m. and a service at 2:00 p.m. We invite all who wish to share memories and say "goodbye" with us to attend.

In honor of Savannah's memory, the family is accepting flowers and food at the viewing.
