Saveria “Sarah” Spica (nee Profeta), age 96, of Morton, PA passed away peacefully at her home on November 26, 2022.
She was the beloved wife of the late Carmen Spica. Devoted mother of Vincent and Anthony. Daughter of the late Vincent and Theresa Profeta. Dear sister of Salvatore “Sam” (Adele) Profeta, Sr., Rita (Louis “Gino”) Martello and the late Francesco Paolo “Frank” (Jean and Josie) Profeta, Marie “Mary” (Thomas) Sanvitale, Rosalia “Rosalie” (Aloysius “Al”) Zappasodi; Sister-in-law of Frank Forcellini and the late Domenic (Ann) Spica, Salvatore (Phyllis) Spica and Lucy Forcellini (nee Spica); also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Sarah was a woman of faith and family. Sarah worked at Exide Battery until the adoption of her first son, Vincent. Sarah enjoyed reading the newspaper and keeping up with current events, in addition, making ceramics, taking trips and other activities as a member of the Southwest Senior Center. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Relatives and friends are invited to her Viewing 7:00-9:00 PM Monday evening, December 5, 2022 and 9:00-10:00 AM Tuesday morning, December 6, 2022 at The Knoetgen-Donohue Funeral Home, 746 Kedron Avenue, Morton, PA 19070. Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 A.M. in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 2130 Franklin Avenue, Morton, PA 19070. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers a donation in Sarah's name may be made to Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church at the above address.

Aunt Sarah was the most kind hearted, sweetest woman. Her two wonderful sons are a reflection of what a loving and devoted mother she was in life. Aunt Sarah will be missed. God blessed an angel.
