LIMA -- Scott A Bash, 53 of Lima, passed away Sunday September 21, 2025 at Cleveland Clinic Hospital. He was born on August 26, 1972 to Michael and Christine Bash. On April 26, 1997 he married Amy (Burnett) Bash and together they had one daughter, Danielle.
Scott was a 1991 graduate of Lima Senior High School where he studied in the construction vocational program. He continued working in the building trade as a finish carpenter for almost 30 years. He was an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers, Pittsburgh Penguins and Cincinnati Reds. He loved going to games in person, especially when his favorite teams played in Chicago so he could visit his daughter. Scott had a love of music, listening to any genre. He was known to have a quick smile, tell a joke or quote a line from a favorite movie.
Scott is survived by his wife Amy, daughter Danielle, sister Stacee Johnson, brother-in-law Bill Johnson, nieces Mychaela (Spenser) Lake and Makenna (Jake) Johnson, nephews Logan Johnson and Conner Burnett and his father M. Scott (Kathy) Bash.
He is preceded in death by his mother Chris Bash and both maternal and paternal grandparents.
A celebration of life event will be held at St. Rose Reception Hall on Saturday, October 25 from 11:00-3:00pm.
