We had dinner with Scott and Kelly a year ago at the Embassy Suites before we
flew home. Had a wonderful visit and so glad we did get together then, as the four of us were to have dinner at the same place the same day he died. So
young, and so unexpected. Our heartfelt sympathies go out to Kelly, Mari and
Clayton. Stay strong and keep in touch. Love, Uncle Derrill and Aunt Nancfy

I first met Scotty when he was 7 or 8 years old and we stayed at Maxine and Jack's house shortly after I married his Mother's Brother, Derrill. We were
taken with each other and he pretended to be sick so he could stay home from
school (so Maxine guessed). And he also hadn't finished a school project. He was to make a Valentine card box. We worked on it together. He said all the other kids were just going to use a shoe box for their cards, but he wanted us to make a big mail box like they have "on the corner" (or used to have on corners). I'm not sure how many cards he received, but we had fun making it.
