Scott William Blakeway passed on Sept 21st 2023 in Tulsa, OK.
Survived by: mother+father- Barbara and David Ortiz of NM. Andrea Blakeway ex wife of 31 yrs. Daughter- Sarah Small. Son- Adam Blakeway. Son- Corey Bailey.Grandaughter Ava. Corey's mom Gina Bailey. And many members of the Washington family.
He had been ill for quite some time. In the end he spoke of wanting to see Nanna and Pampy. Ie: William and Margaret Washington. He missed them very much.
Also survived by. Amada Gonzalas of AZ. Whom he traveled the country with for past 9 yrs. His dream to do before leaving us all. Dream forfilled. Ty Amada.
Scott was a very hardworking man. He worked management at all levels throughout the years and excelled at it. Was often known as Bubba in the work setting.
Lived in Hermon for 18 yrs. Raised his first two children there with his wife.
Scott loved to laugh and make others do the same. And was always there for a friend who needed a listening ear.
He always dreamed of "a van down by the river" he wanted that before he left this world. Wanted to travel the US. And he did just that.
He reconnected with an old friend Amada and off they went on an adventure. This is the one thing I couldn't do for him. His life was complete. Ty Amada.
In the end our son Adam was there by his side however difficult.

A remembrance service will be next summer 2024.
